Connect an assistant to The Roy Effect

Add this site to ChatGPT, Claude or another AI assistant so it can look up my services and send me an inquiry on your behalf.

Set it up

ChatGPT

  1. 01Open ChatGPT settings and turn on Developer mode (read the risk notice shown there). If you don't see it, ask a ChatGPT admin to enable it.
  2. 02Open the new plugin dialog.
  3. 03Enter the name “The Roy Effect” and paste the address above into the URL field.
  4. 04Review the details, tick “I understand and want to continue” (ChatGPT shows this for every custom connection), then click Create.
  5. 05Turn it on from the chat box, then ask ChatGPT to use The Roy Effect.

Claude

  1. 01Open the prefilled Claude connector form.
  2. 02Review the details and click Add.
  3. 03If the form doesn't open, go to Claude's Connectors page, choose “Add custom connector”, name it “The Roy Effect” and paste the address above.
  4. 04Turn the connector on from the chat box, then ask Claude to use The Roy Effect.

Claude Code

  1. 01Run this in a terminal:
  2. 02Start Claude Code and run /mcp to check it's connected.
  3. 03Ask Claude Code to use The Roy Effect.

Other assistants

  1. 01Open your assistant's connector or MCP server settings.
  2. 02Create a new remote connection.
  3. 03Name it “The Roy Effect” and paste the address above.
  4. 04Finish any sign-in prompts.
  5. 05Enable it, then ask the assistant to use The Roy Effect.

Refresh it after I update the site

Assistants remember what this site could do when you connected it, so refresh the connection to pick up anything new.

ChatGPT

  1. 01Open the Plugins page and select The Roy Effect.
  2. 02Scroll to “Information” and click Refresh.
  3. 03ChatGPT can't change an existing address — if it changed, delete the entry and set it up again with the address above.
  4. 04Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use The Roy Effect.

Claude

  1. 01Open the Connectors page and select The Roy Effect.
  2. 02Refresh or update the connector.
  3. 03Claude can't change an existing address — if it changed, remove the connector and add it again with the address above.
  4. 04Ask Claude to use The Roy Effect.

Claude Code

  1. 01Start a new Claude Code session — it reloads on connect.
  2. 02If the address changed, run claude mcp remove the-roy-effect and run the install command again.
  3. 03Ask Claude Code to use The Roy Effect.

Other assistants

  1. 01Open your assistant's connector settings.
  2. 02Select the connection for The Roy Effect.
  3. 03Refresh the tools, reload or reconnect it.
  4. 04If the address changed, paste the latest one from above.
  5. 05Start a new chat and ask the assistant to use The Roy Effect.
